Welcome! Please Note that I have added a new statement in my welcome header. - After this past year I felt it was important to add this.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! - I'm joining Tom (The Backroads Traveller) for WILLY NILLY FRIDAY FIVE
Today's post is all about sending out the old year & ringing in the new year.
1. As per our family tradition we had a "ton" of snack food to send the old year out with. Our daughter had all kinds of things like, Potato Skins, Little Mini Corn Dogs, Pizza Bits, etc...and we provided a veggie tray & meat/cheese platter and cheesecake for dessert. - We watched a movie and then took our annual New Years Eve photo (see #2)
3.Set off Fireworks and blew our party horns.
4. Had a New Years toast & headed to bed.
5. Making Black-eyed Peas/Ham for "Good Luck" for this coming year.

You had a far better feast than we did, but we did have a glass of champagne though. We slept through 12 midnight. As usual.
