Just popping in & a note about Google Followers

Hi! - Thought I'd pop in today and share this sweet photo:

Bandit & Harley relaxing on a chair.

Remember when I mentioned that I had lost some "Google Followers" recently.  Well today I noticed a link about Google changing it's policy for people to follow blogs.  You might want to check it out as on Jan. 11th changes will be made and you might find yourself losing a bunch of your followers.

Here is the link:

My suggestion...Add the Follow By E-Mail feature to your blogs if you are on Blogger.  It's so much easier to get updates right to your e-mail.

  4. Love the kitties. I hate that they are changing that policy. Many people won't sign up just to follow blogs and I don't blame them.

  7. Yes, we lived on Palouse Street in the red brick house. I graduated from Wa-Hi in 1976. Our family owned B. Barer And Sons at 11 N. 4th until 2000.

  8. Yeah about two weeks ago I lost two followers, and was really bummed. But then the other day I read the same Google notice and realized that might be why. Too bad Google keeps changing things!

  9. I remember you, too. You were an office girl at Garrison. You came to the rooms to get the daily attendance.

  10. Hi and Happy New Year to you, Ida! Yes, it is a sweet photo. Do your cats always get along. We still have a bully in the bunch. She mainly targets our younger tabby. I have noticed that our siamese..the brain is getting a little ocd in her behavior.. I think what I miss about blogger was the simplicity of the friends connection. From there it went to Google Circles. I might end up with just a photo blog here. I am thinking about it.. One of my husbands bee colony did not make it. All along he knew it was weaker and not very productive. He claims it has to do with the queen. It was kind of sad, as I had watched them and you do get attached. The other one appears to be doing well.. Hopefully they will survive and thrive...

  12. I do have a Follow By Email and also try to follow my favorite blogs thru this gadget.
Can't follow all because my email gets too many.
I wish Google would leave things alone...:)

  13. I no longer look at the Google Friends stats as accurate because there are people following blogs via Bloglovin and Feedly and who knows what else! It's good to be aware of what's happening.

  17. What sweet kitties. I'll check that Google thing - so annoying when they go changing stuff and everything gets thrown up in the air - thanks for mentioning it. All the best, Bonny

  20. Google+ still eludes me a bit. I've never been able to embraced that platform very well. But, I think your kitties are adorable. Recently, we had to say goodbye to one of our (our daughter's) kitties. It was a very hard decision. (https://peripheralperceptions.wordpress.com/2016/01/01/december-month-in-pictures/) I hope you and yours are off to a wonderful start to the new year. Blessings today and always.

  24. Awww, such cuteness! This really makes me want to get another kitty so Cashew is not lonely. But then I guess there is no guarantee they would get along.
I always choose the Follow by Email option - I can't understand why every blog doesn't offer that feature. It allows me to store all my blogs to read in a separate email folder, so that I can read them when I have time, and it doesn't clog up my inbox.
