Good Fences 119 - Goats n Fences

Welcome!

It's time for some GOOD FENCES

On the way to church we pass by this place that has goats.  They are pretty neat looking goats so I stopped along the side of the road to take their picture.  The back two goats were so not interested in getting photographed and I really never did get very good photos of them but the front two were quite curious.

You can see in this shot that the ones in the back did at least look at me before going back to munching away.

These two however loved the spot light and came right up to the fence and posed so nicely for me.

They got bored quickly though and decided that being in the limelight wasn't as fun as eating....

Be sure to stop by Theresa's blog (The Run-a-Round Ranch Report) and check out all the other Good Fences.

Have a great day.

  30. Ha - so cute!! And yes! They do like to eat. We have a farm nearby that has goats and when we recently trimmed out some branches on our big maple tree, we asked the farmers if they would like the shrub for their goats. They were like YES YES!! So we hauled it all over to their farm and the goats literally came running full tilt when we drove the trailer heaped with tasty leaves into their field. Practically ran us down while we were trying to unload - one jumped INTO the trailer. LOL
The next morning we happened to pass by and there were all the branches in the field - completely stripped bare of any leaves! One night it took them to eat it all.
