Good Fences #99 - Soccer Match

Welcome everyone. - It's time for GOOD FENCES
hosted by Theresa from The Run-a-round Ranch Report.

Today I'm sharing some fence shots taken last summer.

My great Nephew Andrew plays soccer and I went to watch one of his matches.

In this shot you see him and his mother, my niece (Shelby).  I'm not sure what Andrew was looking at but there is a nice tall chain link fence in this shot.

Here you can see him in action during the game.

Now in this next shot you'll see some of his team mates playing and if you look closely you'll see they have an audience watching the game.

I cropped this next shot so you can see the audience a little better....

It would appear that even doves enjoy a good soccer match!

Oh and let's not forget that there were some other animals watching the game too......

From across the field a doe and her 2 fawns took in the action as well.

Have a great day & don't forget to check out the other great fences.

  8. A lot of action outside the ball game! Am surprised you saw the deer - they usually run away when there's a lot of noise. And a secure fence! Hope you're enjoying your week!

  10. I imagine humans interacting in this way would be great entertainment for creatures that don’t need bleachers to take in the action!

  14. Well that's a nice soccer crowd for sure. I love soccer. Hopefully with that tall fence they don't have to go out to retrieve the ball much!

  30. Hi Ida, Looks like it was a good game for your great nephew. The audience looking on is special and to have the deer stay around in all the action is incredible. I am sure they are used to the people here in this fenced soccer field. Thanks for sharing and have a nice weekend. Happy Valentine's Day!

  37. Hello Ida
I love your photos today for Good Fences - everyone seems to find something different to post each week - it's amazing!
Photos with movement like the boys playing ball game are much more interesting than a static image.
Thank you for your visits and sorry I'm so late at getting back!

  38. Wow! The deer were out in daylight! Looks the game was a good one!

  39. That's cool that you have so many 'non-human' watchers!

  40. That is amazing how the wild creatures take their places in the "grandstands." Right now we are content to get updates on our Illinois granddaughters' basketball game scores via smartphone as we bask in chilly (60 degree F) south Florida.

  41. Hi Ida, thanks for visiting my blog, great action shots there of the soccer. No doubt they need the strong fence to keep the deer out.
