Greetings from the land of the HEAT - I don't know how hot it is around the rest of the US but here in "Wally World" we are in the triple digits this summer. - It's just plain HOT here. I can't tell you how thankful I am for Air Conditioning in the house and in my vehicle.

Anyway I want to let you all know I'm still alive and still busy with wedding plans. I've been working on making hand fans because I know it's bound to be plenty warm outside for an August wedding.
Still a lot of things to get organized and finalized so little time is left for blogging.
I've missed visiting and commenting on blogs and participating in memes but I'll be back come the fall.
Stay cool if you are also experiencing a "heat wave" where you live.
You are hotter than us. Your flowers sure are looking awesome. Best wishes with the wedding plans. You are greatly missed. Tell Coleen "hi."
ReplyDeleteI'm down in Portland - today is cooler - but oh yes, hot hot hot!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for checking in Ida. It is hot here today too. Stay cool!
ReplyDeleteaugust will be here before you know it. and, yes, thank goodness for a/c. :)
ReplyDeleteYep it's hot in Portland too, but not as hot as in your area! The flowers are simply gorgeous. Good luck with the wedding planning.
ReplyDeleteYikes, that is hot! We are supposed to be unseasonably cool this week, and possible set a record low!
ReplyDeleteWe've had hot weather, but nothing like your area. Today was in the low 80s and it was such a pleasure to be outside. Take care and have a great week.
ReplyDeleteHiya Ida!
ReplyDeleteA/C is something I thank God for on a regular basis. I get sick when I get too hot. It's been in the mid to high 90's here in Maryland and oppressively humid. Arrrrgh!
As for the wedding...have you thought about ice-sculpture chairs for the guests?? LOL! m & jb
Glad you are alive and well!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry that the heat is so bad! Thank goodness for air conditioners huh?
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Gert
Beautiful flowers! Glad the wedding plans are coming along!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! That IS HOT! Crazy! We are experiencing some hot weather but not as hot as yours. Sounds like a good time to stay inside with ice cold drinks.
ReplyDeleteOh my, Ida! I'd melt in triple digits heat! Stay cool and enjoy doing the wedding preparations...busy and fun times!
ReplyDeleteOh, my goodness that's hot! Our high temperatures have been a bit cooler than your lows. And I must say that's fine by me!
ReplyDeleteLovely shot of your flowers and, of course, I'm glad to hear you're still alive!! Hope the wedding planning is progressing smoothly.
omgoodness, that's hot, hot, hot!! beautiful flowers....try to stay cool in air conditioning!!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty flowers. Actually it's been pretty cool here in western MD. It's usually in the high 70's and I think 85 is the hottest its been. We haven't even turned on the AC yet.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the wedding. Hope all goes well.
Them are some toasty numbers.
ReplyDeleteStay cool.
Peace :)
Congratulations on the wedding. I hope all the planning goes well.
ReplyDeleteOh dear Ida, that IS hot! I hope you stay cool, sweet friend.
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are lovely - thank you for sharing :)
Hugs to you!
Pretty flowers!
ReplyDeleteOur weather has been a liitle unusual in Virginia. Hot during the afternoon, 80's or 90's, but with rain in late afternoon or evening. We don't normally get so much rain in July. The weeds love it!
Hello! Feel free to watch my new photo album "Roses" Greetings
ReplyDeleteHello Ida, I love your bright flowers - they seem perfect for midsummer heat! We are hot here, too, unexpectedly, as we usually have cooler summers here near Seattle. I know you must be busy as a bee - Enjoy your wonderful and happy event and the rest of your summer! Hugs xo Karen
ReplyDeleteThose colors area really pretty. Love that tone on tone.
ReplyDeleteOh, that heat is brutal! I hate it with a capital HATE!! We have been fortunate on this coast. It has mostly been mild. Greg hasn't even put the ACs in yet. Hang in there.
ReplyDeleteOh, no, I couldn't handle that heat! It's a good time to get things done inside, though. Here it's always comfortable and so I'm outside all summer. It sounds nice, maybe, and it is, but it sure cuts into my other things I need to do. Really can't complain as it's only here for a while. I sure hope August cools down a little for the wedding. Oh, pretty flowers, by the way! Good thing they love the heat!
ReplyDeleteHope temperatures went down.
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers you have in your garden! :)
Stay cool, Ida! A summer wedding is a hot thing, that's for sure, esp. if it's outside. May everything go smoothly for you.
ReplyDeleteI love your dahlias. I know you are anxious that all goes well with the wedding!
