Life Happened (again)

 Hello - Well it's been another, "hot minute" since I've posted here.  Life happened again and an unexpected event happened.

My hubby, Mike had been having problems with his breathing and shortness of breath for some time.  Well he ended up in the hospital recently.

First he started out on October 1st having a heart catheterization procedure done:

That's when they discovered that he had several blockages in his heart. - They wanted to send him for a Bypass surgery but we opted for Stent procedure instead.  

That was done on Saturday 3rd.

Jojo didn't want him to be sad or lonely while he stayed in the hospital so she sent him one of her teddy bears to keep him company.

She was so excited when we sent her the picture.  She told her mommy that, "her plan worked!"

Next up before and after pictures they gave up of his heart:

This was before picture:  and you can see where the blockages were.  They put in 3 Stents.

Quite a difference.  He stayed over night and then was able to come home Sunday afternoon.  So far things are going a lot better for him.

I've been busy learning to plan meals with less sodium, fat & sugar content to keep his heart as healthy as we can.

All is well & life goes on.  We are grateful.
