Wild and Wordless

Welcome.    Did that title grab your attention?

Today I'll be participating in Wild Bird Wednesday &

 Wordless Wednesday.

So without further ado....

Edited to add:  Thanks Theresa (The Run-a-Round Ranch Report) for identify my doves as: 
Eurasian Collared Doves.






I'm not sure what type of Doves these are (can somebody help me identify) but they come every day for the seeds I leave out for the birds.

    eurasian collared-doves. they are spreading throughout the US now.

    They are so beautiful! I have no idea what kind of dove they would be. we just have mourning doves around here. Love how you captured it in flight.

    Very pretty shot of the dove with his wings spread .... you have a fast trigger finger! I'm too slow to get those kind of pictures.

    Thanks a lot, Ida, for your kind comment on my latest post. We have these Eurasian collared doves as well in the region where I live. And why ever: I can perfectly imitate their call / hoot. And I always get an answer back, because they think I'm a kind of intruder of the same dove species.
