Good Fences - January 15, 2015

Hello and Welcome  - Today I'm sharing in the fun of GOOD FENCES hosted by Theresa from (The Run-a-round Ranch Report).





I've been saving a few of the fences that I found while out and about last fall so I would have fences to share until the weather was nicer and I could get out and look for new fences.

This one caught my eye as I was driving by one day so I had to go back and snap a couple of shots of it.


Isn't this design "weird" looking?

Does this remind you of anything? - It did me and so my imagination played around with this shot by cropping it and adding some special effects on Pic Monkey.  I now give you.......





                                                Aliens have landed.

    I had to laugh at the fact that you had to turn around and go back to get a picture.,,that is often the case with my hubby and me, for sure. OOOO - Aliens!

    I think somebody mixed many ideas into this fence, it does look strange. And what you did with it at picmonkey looks just great :))
    Who knows - maybe "they" are in the balls waiting for the right time to come out and take over? :D

    I was going to say it reminded me of a Chinese design I have seem..but alien..that works too. It's definitely different.

    Sorry you aren't feeling well ... hope it passes and you can get back to normal. I lol at your little aliens. I agree, the fence is weird or, at best, unusual. Can't say I have ever seen one like it. Wonder what they were thinking when they designed it ... Aliens, maybe? Fun, Ida ...

    Hope you feel better soon. I have two friends who are sick right now. That fence is really interesting and I had a chuckle at your aliens have landed quote, with the little alien. I'm going to have to check out that picmonkey.

    Love that fence. It reminds me of the helmets the guards wear at Buckingham Palace. Although your aliens interpretations is pretty impressive, too. Hope you feel better soon.

    I was totally thinking "aliens" when I saw your photo! Interesting, though. See that chain link fence in the background with the slats through it? That's more like the type of fences I see around here. Very UNinteresting. I tend to keep an eye out for good fences these days. You know I always love these posts. I hope you feel better soon, Ida.

    These remind me of the toys on strings between two poles. When you squeezed the poles the toy would rotate. The structure between the uprights look to heavy to do the same but they have an oriental look about them.
