It's Monday and the start of a new week.
Just wanted to update everyone who's been praying for us during our Wild Fire in the mountains recently. As of last night the fire had been updated to 50% contained. No further buildings have been destroyed and no lives have been lost. Best news of all.....
It's RAINING!
We had a sudden and brief rainshower here on Friday night but it didn't reach the fire area.
This morning it's rained quite a bit although it's starting to clear off already. I'm hoping though that the rain reached the fire area to help put that fire completely out.
In the meantime here are some cute cats to share for Mancat Monday.
Captain Cuddles (sleeping) He wouldn't look up no matter what I tried. Also the newest member of our "mancat" family, Bandit.
This is our oldest "mancat" - Harley
This is the 2nd to youngest of our male cats, Spooky-boo.
I'll share photos of the girls another day.
Have a great day!
Greeting

Hello Ida, I hope that the rain has helped put out the fire. Or almost keep it front getting bigger. My prayers go out to the firemen and homeowners in the area. May they all keep safe. I love your cute kitties, the first shot is adorable. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week ahead!
ReplyDeleteCat lovers love alike! They are so cute! And love it when they honor us with their cuddling:)
ReplyDeleteSo glad the wildfire has been contained! I am also breathing a sigh of relief that it finally rained here west of the Cascades. It has been so dry.....so scary! Your 'Man-cats' are a handsome bunch! I love that you have so many! I am down to two after many years of having a crowd. I always adopt the strays :) Have a great week!

ReplyDeleteHandsome cats...I do enjoy the antics of cats. They're so unpredictable. Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteRain is wonderful, I think, even when we may not need it. It's a cleansing blessing.
good to hear the update!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you got rain, so great!!

ReplyDeleteHope the rain spells the end of the fire. Your mancats are so adorable.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that first pic of the kitties! Such a cute kitty that is awake, but also a great composition.
ReplyDeleteAww, those are beautiful cats! I certainly hope the fire is put out soon.
ReplyDeleteThey are all cuties. I have trouble getting my cat to look at me also..I think she just tolerates my efforts. LOL
ReplyDeleteCute kitty faces!
ReplyDeleteI hope by now the fire has been contained. Your cats family are just so beautiful and cute.
ReplyDeleteTotally stunning photos, Ida. I really loved the rain drops on rose petals one: that one was a knockout with the great quotation to go along with the image. And your cats are adorable - so very, very handsome, every last one of them. Looking forward now to "Femcat Friday". All the best, Bonny
ReplyDeleteSo very thankful for your rain.
ReplyDeleteYour cats are precious. I love each and every one of them!
Wonderful rain! I'm so glad to hear the wildfires are settling down a little. We had rain here, too, and it was so lovely to feel and hear.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that they have so much of that fire contained, and the timely fall of some much needed rain. So thankful no lives lost!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to take a nap like Captain Cuddles. My girls stayed up late every night on our camping trip, and still woke with the sun. I felt very much like Capt Cuddles, not wanting to lift my head from the pillow.
The kitties are so pretty and they are not camera shy I see :)
ReplyDeleteNice photos, Ida.
Have a Wonderful Day!
Peace :)
love your cat shots-such adorable faces! I just want to say I have tried and failed with google+..it is overwhelming though I have good intentions having saved a 'google+ for dummies' to read on a rainy day. glad your fires are under control, here they are raging out of control in certain spots, rivers are dry and the concern is for the fish, insects, plant life, crops etc.-tough summer everywhere.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to hear that you have rain, that is wonderful :)
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet kitties.... I just want to snuggle with them!
More cute kitty photos! You know I love them!
