Wild Bird Wednesday - March 14, 2018

Joining, Stewart (Paying Reading Attention) for:
WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY

These shots were taken through the openings of a chain link fence at the local city park (Pioneer Park) aviary.

I love the colors of this duck and the fact I caught the water drip as well.

That red eye is sure "eye-catching." - The female is in front, wish I would have got a shot of her too.  Maybe another time.

Back view of the male as he swam the other direction.

  14. Tell me why all the males are so good looking and the females look so commonplace. Yes, I know, that's the way God made them but it just seems a shame.

And btw I just have to ask: do you have Oreos in the US that come with red strawberry filling - reference your lovely new blog header -? If so, that's pretty awesome too. We only get the vanilla filling over here.
