"Whatever" Wednesday - The Ladybug Edition

Welcome to "Whatever" Wednesday - This is my day to post photo's of whatever I want. I hope you enjoy them. - This week I'm sharing some Ladybug Photo's. I was outside looking at my flower beds (which sorely need cleaning out from the winter debris) and I happened to notice that there were ladybugs all over the place. So I hurried in and got my camera and took a bunch of photo's of them. These are all different bugs that were in various places in my yard and on the house.

  1. Ida, I love this little ladybug!
All of these are wonderful, but the first one is truly a fantastic shot!

  2. Hi Ida, These are all nice shots, but I like the 1st and 3rd shots the best. The light in the first one is really nice and the lady bug/leaf are perfect color opposites. In the 3rd shot the curled leaf makes a lovely backdrop.

  3. I love ladybugs. Great shots!

  4. Beautiful macro images! Perfect focus!! I rarely see ladybugs here. I don't know why! Maybe I just need to look a little closer!!

  5. WOW those ladies bugs are so glossy they look artificial. I can't tell you the last time I saw a lady bug, I want to say thirty years but really since I was a kid. Don't know where they live but not in my neighborhood, it was so nice seeing your photos.

  6. I like those nice catch, beautiful macros to this ladybug. Greetings.

  7. I especially like the photo of the lady bug on the thorn bush. Very neat contrast between cute little bug and hooked thorns.
