these are beautiful photos, I am one who adores this brown time of our year...
excellent winter images - especially for this song.
Great depictions of winter!
Nice close ups! The last photo is beautiful with those mountains in the background!
Beautiful - words and lyrics.
I love that first photo. You made winter grasses look so pretty. I like the processing with the softened corners....lovely!
love your photo of the dried grasses ... they always look beautiful no matter what the season!
love your shots here Ida, especially the depth of field in the last shot. Thanks for stopping by my blog, and you are right, had to get up at 5 am to get that presunrise shot. That is even a little bit early for me.... but worth it once in a while.
ooohhhh winter is pretty by you!! i really like the image of the leaves!!have a happy sunday!!
Ida, I really like the pleasing tones of your first shot. When the green comes, you may want to take a photo of the same place and show them side be side. Hope you have a wonderful week with your family!
Those are amazingly gorgeous!
Beautiful images to portray the song! I especially like the first one. I love the flowing lines!
Love the song....love your interpretation. Oh, and your comment on someone elses blog about boys barking at you....you and I would have been great friends in school had we known each other! For the first 6 years I was in school, I had to take speech therapy because no one could understand me. I was in speech therapy longer than any other student. Yeah, I got teased. But, like I said, that experience makes for a more compassionate person. I would never tease or bully anyone!!
I see signs of Spring everywhere. It's amazing. NO Winter for us.Your world will soon be bright with Springtime flowers too. I promise.:)Mona
Love how the grass is weaving in and around in the first shot. The last shot is a hazy winter scene; but those mountains are beautiful nevertheless!
Gorgeous photos, Ida! Love that last one of the mountains.
Your photos really capture the song lyrics.
Welcome back! It looks like we all could use some color in our tapestries! Thanks for joining in at Song-ography.
Amazing how you've taken such simple subjects and turned them into real works of art. Beautiful!
A classic song. Boy, everything is white around here. Uff da.
I think you nailed the song with your photos. Nice job.
Yes, wonderful atmosphere of winter, I really like these photos!
These are great! I especially like that first shot.
Beautiful! These photographs are perfect for the song. I really love the framing in the first one, and the mountains look gorgeous.PS "A patch of snow"?? Ha! That songwriter has obviously never been to Winnipeg!
