Good Fences #74 - Curved and Picketed

Hello! - Hope you've all been having a great week so far.  Summer is winding down here and school will start on Wednesday of next week, (Coleen is half hearted about going back to school at this point.)  -  In the meantime let's sit back and enjoy some good fun with Theresa from The Run-a-round Ranch Report and GOOD FENCES.

I so admire Brian King's photography and have loved how he often finds fence shots that include a cool looking tree like this ONE  so I was out one day looking for fences and happened upon a nice fence and a pretty cool looking tree.  In honor of Brian's great tree/fence shots I want to share this one with you.

Don't you love that nice little white picket fence?  Did you spot what's unusual about the tree?

Hope you've enjoyed today's fence shot.  Don't forget to drop in at Theresa's blog and check out all the other fabulous fences.

Have a beautiful day!

  1. Great photo and a pretty unusual tree at a sweet picket fence! I think that branch or limb would make a great seat!
    Enjoy the weekend!
Just to let you know I am putting my fence and photos on a new blog, Christineandhercamera.blogspot.com

  8. Great picket fence. Looks like that branch of the tree avoided the fence at all costs. Great picture. Have a wonderful day.

  15. Thank you so much for the great mention! I'm flattered! With all of the trees I've photographed, I've never seen one like this! It looks like a snake coming out of the tree! Very cool find! Nice little picket fence, too!

  24. Besides the unusual tree branch it looks like it's the top of the tree and iit's growing from a deep ravine? The picket fence looks like it's really short or dwarfed by the tree.

  27. Yes I can see something in the tree but too blurry on my mini ipad. Guessing a goat. Bit unlikely though!

  29. I must agree with Liz....there must be a ravine where the tree is growing...lovely photo. And, thanks for your generous comments on my blog.

  33. The white fence is a fine element of the picture. The warped tree is remarkable by itself. The duo make a fine post.
