Now let's join Theresa (The Run-a-round Ranch Report) for GOOD FENCES.
As you know if you've visited my blog I tend to drive around town looking for fences to share so I've built up a bit of a selection to share. Today I'm sharing some photo's taken exactly one year apart.
These two horses were grazing in their pasture which is located across Mill Creek by the local Community College. - I've always liked the nice white fence they have bordering a walking trail. During the Ducky Derby in May is when this was shot.
So this year we are out at the Ducky Derby again and I happened to spot the same two horses grazing and here is this years shot.
I think they have a pretty nice fence and pasture to enjoy.
Don't forget to stop by Theresa's blog and check out all the other great fences. - Have a wonderful day & thanks for stopping by.
Very nice, I like the horses too!

ReplyDeletethey look well fed and very happy behind that fence and that makes me happy to
ReplyDeleteI meant to comment about her new teacher, she is the 3rd child in elementary school that has a male teacher. usually most teachers K through 3 and 4th are females. i saw the others on FB today
ReplyDeleteLovely fences...and the horses aren't bad either :)
ReplyDeletebeautiful handsome horses behind the fences
ReplyDeleteI like that you post photos of the same subject but a year apart. The horses sure have a nice spot to graze.
ReplyDeleteNice to see the green barn in the second photo … looks like a cozy spot for the same two horses that haven’t aged a bit in a year. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd they still look happy and healthy! ;-)
ReplyDeleteHorses, I love horses.
ReplyDeleteLike the horses and green barn as well as the fence!
ReplyDeleteYou and Don have horses on the thinking today.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful takes.
There is something so beautiful about horses in their paddocks!
ReplyDeleteThe fences look so neat and tidy, well kept, and the photos are very nice too! Have a grand day!
ReplyDeletehorse fences! my favorite kind.
ReplyDeleteI like these kinds of fences with the scenes around them!
ReplyDeleteThose horses don't seem to have changed much in the year, but I sure have. Nice digs for them.
ReplyDeleteall the same. Nothing happened for a year :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a really nice fence especially for horses. So many people have that darn barbed wire fence and a horse can get hurt really badly on barbed wire. Great picture. Have a great evening.
ReplyDeleteSuch a nice setting. I like the cute little green barn too. janey
ReplyDeleteNice fence, indeed! It looks very similar to what you'd find here.
ReplyDeletea nice fence. looks like a well maintained area for those pretty horses
ReplyDeleteVery nice second photo! Horses are always a pretty sight!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm impressed that the fence is so clean. I have a fence like that and it has a tendency for a pollen to stick to it like static electricity sticks to your hair. As a result, mine really looks like it needs a good wash! I.E., no pictures of my fence!
ReplyDeleteYou founds some great fence sights. I have go to get out looking as I lost all my photos when computer was hacked.
ReplyDeleteHi Ida, isn't it special to see the same two horses a year apart. Love the fence. You captured a peaceful scene. Glad Coleen had a great start to the new school year.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend. cm
blessings ...
ReplyDeletewishing you a fabulous Friday.
Love the horses behind that white fence.
Both images are beautiful and how cool that you found them both together still. I like the green barn in the background!!
ReplyDeleteGood news about Colleen, a good teacher/student relationship can make all the difference in a school year!!
Happy that Coleens first day back was a great one. These photos are great and the horses are splendid.
ReplyDeleteBoth photo of both horses and fencing very pretty! Have a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful....horses are always so photogenic.
ReplyDeleteBut, now I must ask..."Ducky" Derby? Is that what it implies...ducks?
Nice to see they're both doing well, Ida!
ReplyDelete~
I like seeing comparison shots...I like the horses, too.
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting to see the same two horses in picture a year apart. Well done.
ReplyDeleteI liked the fence and it was nice to see the same two horses a year later. I wonder if they have become more attached to each other in that time.
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice place and the horses are pretty. Good to see they are still doing well!
ReplyDeleteNice pasture indeed - pretty horses, too.
