Whatever Wednesday and Zoom In Zoom Out

Welcome!  It's a COLD day here in "Wally World" (aka Walla Walla, WA)
The snow is falling very softly here today but not enough to really worry about.

Greta and Coleen did indeed make their snowman (or snowwoman) as mentioned in my previous post.  I took photo's of the event, that was my part.  I'm sharing those here today along with some photos for another meme,  Zoom In, Zoom Out hosted by Helena at Helena's Creative Maven.

Those will follow after the snowman photos.  - Be sure to click to enlarge.

So let's get started with the snow fun!

I took this one from inside my nice warm craft/computer room.  They were trying to "shore up" her body as the snow was starting to get pretty slushy at that point.

Coleen had a little helper (?) when Ghost the kitten decided to hop on her back for a ride.

The finished snow woman and her creators.  She's a bit "dirty" looking and they pretty much used up all the snow from the front yard to make her but they had fun and that's what counts.

Here she is in all her glory.  She's still standing too because the weather turned off very COLD so she may be around for a  little while.

Now let's join in the Zoom In, Zoom Out fun.

Yesterday I caught this photo of, Ghost on top our Van just as he was getting ready to climb down.  This is my Zoom Out shot.

Now let's Zoom In for a closer look as he slid down the windshield.

He had the most startled look on his face,  "Gosh that was slippery!"

Hope you've enjoyed your stay.  Thanks for visiting.

  6. I am impressed with the snowwoman. They made a lot out of a little snow. We got about 11 inches overnight and into today. I would be glad to ship them a little if they want to make a man to go with the woman. Gorgeous cat pics!!

  8. Your kitty doesn't seem to mind the snow at all - and gosh, you barely had enough for the fixings of a snow woman! You could have some of ours if you'd like!

  12. Ms. Snowwoman turned out wonderfully! I can remember a lot of dirty snowmen growing up. :)
That cat is a cutie. My daughter used to have a cat who would just up on her back without any notice.

  23. I got a big smile out of this post, Ida! I think their snowwoman looks fabulous even if she's a bit smudged. I mean, what can you expect when you've been rolling around outside? Love the kitty shots. Our Marvin used to hop up and make himself comfortable like that. Such characters they are!

  24. At least your snowman is a reasonable size - one year we ended up making one out of handsized snowballs... with a leaf hat!

The cat shots are great too :)
