Six Word Fridays and Orange You Glad It's Friday

Happy Friday everyone.  Boy it's been one "BUSY" week here.

This weekend the 40th Annual Hot Air Balloon Stampede is taking place here in Walla Walla.  Sadly the weather is probably not going to cooperate for Balloon launches, It's raining right now.  But yesterday a couple of balloons did go up and I captured this shot of one.  There were no clouds in the sky but I added some to the photo.

I spotted a house with an Orange door while out driving one afternoon.  I thought it was rather unusual and I liked the orange brick on the house and also the reddish/orange tones of the tree and bushes surrounding the house.

    I love the hot air balloon shot, Ida. I had a couple of opportunities to go up in one, but both times the weather conditions prevented a take-off.

    Wow, that orange door looks like a yummy creamsicle. Orange is one of my favorite colors. And, sometimes clouds are orange!

    Love your sky shots! One of the thrills of my life was getting to take a hot air balloon ride for our 25th anniversary in California. It was truly thrilling. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

    i think orange is a very under-rated color. it's so fun and whimsical!! but not as fun as purple!!

    Hot air balloons are so fascinating to watch, I always watch for the gush of yellow and orange flame and the waves from the occupants. Beautiful captures. Xx
