Welcome!
Let's get started on some GOOD FENCES by joining Theresa,
The Run-a-round Ranch Report for her awesome meme.
Today I'm sharing a fence you've seen before but with a few new items on it.
First let's start by sharing the Flowers that can be seen by this fence.
This is my mom's fence. She lives next door to us. - This poppy grows in her front flower bed but I thought the Green fence (her favorite color) in the background really shows them off well.
She has a gorgeous Peony bush that blooms by the fence every year so I had to share that as well.
Along with enjoying flowers my mom loves Butterflies and yard decor. For Mother's Day this year I decided to buy her a set of new metal sculpture butterflies to put on her fence as the one's she use to have were getting old and faded.
What was neat is that my hubby went out and bought her a special gift as well and when I saw what he bought I was so excited.
It's a butterfly trellis. Although she does not plan to add a flower to the trellis as she likes it just the way it is.
So now let's see how the other butterflies look with it....
This is the blue one. They all came with flowers on them as well.
Here is the Yellow one.
Next comes the Pink one.
Finally a view of all of them on the fence together.
They really dress up her fence and you can see some of her roses here as well that grow along the fence line.
Have a wonderful day and don't forget to check out the other Good Fences.

ReplyDeleteThe green fence makes a really great background for your mom's flowers. The poppies and the peonies are so very lovely!
ReplyDeleteFences are great for giving cover, and your mum's fence is doing a great job on that front. Love the peony rose. I really like the colour she's had it painted, and all the butterflies are just fabulous.
ReplyDeleteThe poppies and peonies look stunning against that green fence. I lover your mum's fence decorations as well. My younger son, his wife and three children live next door to us. It's a real blessing to be near family.
ReplyDeleteI like the color of the fence
ReplyDeleteThat is a great fence, but I just love all those butterflies!
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous! Love the vibrant colors!
ReplyDeleteHello Ida
ReplyDeleteWhat a thoughtful Mothers Day present, your Mom must be over the moon!
I wonder if they will attract real life butterflies.
Her garden is very pretty.
We have a similar fence up our driveway, but there is not enough room to plant a garden there to grow climbers.
Happy weekend Ida.
Shane
Lovely idea with those butterflies, I like it.
ReplyDeletelove your poppies and the gorgeous decorations :)
ReplyDeleteWell, I love butterflies, fences, and flowers! I always think flowers need green to really set them off, and your mom's fence does the trick beautifully. I'll bet she was so happy with her Mother's Day gift! Those metal butterflies are such fun and so bright and cheerful! I'm crazy about metal art, too.
ReplyDeleteThey all look just beautiful!! I think I would enjoy your moms garden very much. I really like that colour of peony. Mine are a soft pink, and I'd really another one along the fence with a bold spot of colour. And some fence art now too! :)
