1. Spotted these critters last week while out for a short drive.
Triplet Fawns! - How cool is that.2. Went to the park to get pictures of the White Peacock and her babies. It was hard taking the shots through the chain link but here's a halfway decent one.
3. Captured this Dragonfly shot the other day.
4. My daughter, Greta's dog, Baylee waiting to be told she can eat her biscuit.
5. A Woodpecker spotted in a tree on my walk this morning.
Bonus shot because I just have to include a kitty picture.
Our neighbors cat, Toby getting his belly rubbed by Coleen.
Have a fantastic weekend. For those in the US enjoy Labor Day Weekend. Summer is almost over....sigh.
...I lovely your dragonfly, I never seem to get good pics of them. Enjoy your weekend.

ReplyDeleteYour pics are wonderful. A white peacock and chick! I love them all and your header is great too! Enjoy the long weekend!
ReplyDeleteAll wonderful shots. Baylee is way more patient than Gibbs. I can't see him doing that
ReplyDeleteAll wonderful shots, but I think my favourite is the triplet fauns. Well, that and the very obedient puppy. Cool trick!
ReplyDeleteHave a great long weekend Ida,
Andrea

ReplyDeletei believe triplets in deer are rare - they are usually born in sets of 2, i think!!! awesome snap of that busy woodpecker!!!
ReplyDeleteOh My!!! Nature photos that deserve awards . . .
ReplyDeleteAwesome . . Thank you so much for sharing.
Happy September!
Nice collection of critter pics!
ReplyDeleteThe dog with a treat on his nose is precious! I'm not sure we'd have that success with the crazy poodle!
ReplyDeleteHappy Labor Day weekend!

Lovely shots, Ida. I keep trying to photograph dragonflies, but they never sit long enough for me. Your dragonfly, on the other hand, is beautifully shot. I love your woodpecker. And that beautiful black dog is amazingly well trained. My dog would not be able to resist that temptation.
ReplyDeleteLove all these pictures! My son used to do that with our cocker spaniel- he'd put the dog biscuit on her snout area and than tell her okay and then in a fast motion flip it and eat it! I had forgotten about it until I saw your picture.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I've never seen a white peacock. Love the deer!
ReplyDeleteReally nice photos Ida! If I had to pick a favorite (or two), it would be the cat, and the dog.
ReplyDeleteThe triplet fawns are incredible. I scrolled through again just to take in all the beauty of the photos. Wonderful.
ReplyDeleteA white peacock! I've never seen one of those. And, your dragonfly capture is beautiful. They are too fast for me. We have lots of deer in our neighborhood, along with lots of other *wild* life....like fox, the garden variety of snakes, frogs, lizards and the occasional armadillo (a strange site in middle Missouri).
