Willy Nilly & Feline Friday - February 9, 2018

Welcome.

Joining in today for

WILLY-NILLY FRIDAY FIVE

It's all about "colors" this week. - Since February is generally a gloomy month (it's been rainy & overcast here most of the month) I thought I would add some photos of color that I spotted while out and about this week.

1.

Spring Crocus blooming in someone's yard.  Don't they look cheery!

2.

Colorful Grafitti on a bridge.

3.  The colors of an evening sunset this week looking down our street.

4.  Some tree bark that I found colorful and fascinating.

5.

Sleeping cats on a Christmas blanket (I need to put that away). - This is also for FELINE FRIDAY
Leaving you with a couple of songs with a color in the song.  Today's colors were:  Green & Red.

Have a wonderful weekend.

  1. Looking down your street, it looks like our area. What are the mountains? We are surrounded by the Blue Ridge and the Appalachian. These cute crocus are so early! I love the metal dog, too. Are these your kittens? The graffiti has pretty colors.

  9. You have crocus already???? I'm so envious. Your post just goes to show that there is color in every season (even winter) if we just open our eyes and look around. Thanks for the videos. I love your choices. Hope your week treats you well.xoxo

  10. Lovely sunset shot, and such sweet kitties! Sorry I didn't join in this week. After my cortisone shot, I just lay on the couch for two and a half days waiting for it to start feeling better, and I was strangely not in the mood to do any posting. It's feeling pretty good now! :-)

  11. Love the sunset. I love trees -- bark and all! Crocus and the cute dog in the background. I think your kitties have decided the christmas blanket is staying where it is!

  18. Colors, they are truly, what we need!
By the way, earlier I had the Simon&Garfunkkel-LP with this cover.
    That wake memories...

  19. Ida,

I love photo of your town with the sunset view - beautiful! Those cats look so cozy curled together. Oh the life of the cat is where it's at! WOW, I haven't heard "Red Rubber Ball" in like forever. At first I didn't think I knew until the chorus played. Thanks for sharing!
