Welcome!
I've been trying to get back into posting on this blog again but sometimes it's difficult to find the time to post and read posts. At any rate I hope you still will want to follow me and continue to post comments when I am able to post.

SATURDAY CRITTERS

I took a drive with my mom Thursday afternoon. We drove up, Mill Creek and along the way up and back we spotted several groups of deer. I'm sharing their photos with you today.
Spotted this one near a stream or pond and managed to snap a quick shot.
Turned around and drove back down and low and behold there were a couple more deer at the same spot.
Next up I spotted a nice looking Buck and a Doe in someones yard so I had to turn around to get on the same side of the road and managed a few shots of them.
I hate it when my camera decides to focus on the grass and not the deer but it made for an interesting shot I think.
I finally managed a good shot of Mr. Buck after he stood up. Nice Antlers.
He wandered over to the Doe and I got a shot of both of them. She sure was a nice bright reddish brown color.
Spotted one more Buck with a slight less impressive set of Antlers but they are impressive in their own "funky" way I think.
Looks like he's giving me the "raspberry" there.
It's always fun to spot deer in the wild and get photos of them. I hope you have enjoyed them as much as I did taking them.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous weekend. ♥
Hello, Ida! So happy to see you join in with your critters. I love the pretty deer. The bucks are nice looking.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for linking up your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend! PS, thanks for your visit and comments on my blog.
the deer are so beautiful. and the photos are also.. love the two different sets of antlers and SHE is gorgeous. the fence and the blurred deer is my favorite shot of the day
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job! I can tell by your second picture just how camouflaged the deer are. I like the sun and shade pattern on the next to last. Things in the foreground are always messing up my pictures; the camera wants to focus on what is the closest. There is something you can do about it, but I am not far enough advanced to do anything about it.
ReplyDeleteYou got some great shots of these beautiful animals...
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots of the deer. About the only time I ever see them is when they run out in front of my vehicle.
ReplyDeleteLovely to see you are still blogging! i am just very close to retiring, and it is my honest plan to start keeping up with my blog again. Hope you are well. Get shots
ReplyDeleteI completely understand about not having time to write AND blog hop and comment. Seems like one always is at the expense of the other. Love your critter shots. Those "young bucks" are very handsome and their racks will be impressive soon. We have a lot of does and babies in our neighborhood but I don't see the bucks very often. Hope your summer is winding down in a good way.
ReplyDeleteLove the deer! It's fun to see them.
ReplyDeleteOh I LOVE THESE DEER PICTURES!! Great pictures. Glad you stopped in. You asked if that was whipped cream. On the fried green tomatoes it was feta cheese and on the salmon it was dill caper cream cheese. It was all YUMMY! Hope you are having a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHow marvelous!
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful post.
ReplyDeleteLovely shots Ida! I hope you've enjoyed your summer, and have a great week.

I say blog when you can … and comment when you can … your shots are wonderful - it is always interesting to me how one buck's antlers can be so different from another's!
ReplyDeleteIda, these are fabulous shots! We love to watch the deer come to our feeder...seeing one is almost like seeing it for the first time. They are such beautiful creatures!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! You got the bucks in velvet.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo's! They almost seem to be posing for you!
