A Fun Gift - 3D printer style. Lots of pictures.

 Hello & Welcome. - Gosh it's been awhile since I've posted.  The holiday season is so busy and this year has been no exception.  Today though I am sharing some really neat stuff that my awesome brother, Roger sent me.

I'm known as the "crazy cat lady" so be prepared!

Musical kitties

He also sent some Christmas ornaments with all our pet's names on them and some cat related ones.  They are already on the tree so I will have to get pictures of them at another time.

Just so you know he did not design the actual art work.  He finds pictures and then chooses the colors and such and prints them off on the 3D printer.  They have great texture to them and are really neat.  I took the photos with my phone so they don't actually show how really cool these are.

Thank you brother, it was a lot of fun opening and unwrapping that box of goodies.

Feline Friday - September 10, 2021

 First off I want to thank everyone who sent us such comforting and kind words on the loss of our sweet, Captain Cuddle this past weekend. - It was so hard to let him go but the "humane" thing to do considering the condition he had and the grim outlook of him ever recovering from it.

So today I'm joining Sandee (Comedy Plus) for FELINE FRIDAY

 

 

It's been a day of cats around here for sure.

 

First this morning we found this kitty hanging around our house.  It was one we'd never seen before & seemed to be friendly.  We ended up catching him and putting him in a carrier then calling animal control.

 

Turns out that he was apparently a (feral cat) at one time and had been neutered and had his ear clipped and then released.  So we had no choice but to just let him out of the carrier and hope that he doesn't get hit by cars or beaten up by other cats.

Yes it's been 5 years (so hard to believe) since Caramel arrived and joined our family.

 

 

 

She was the tiniest little fur ball and oh so cute.

 

 

Now she's grown into a gorgeous and rather large fur baby.  We love her to pieces and hope to have many more years with her.

 Next up.....

We would like to introduce you to the newest member of our family,

 This is Rowdy Rawhide (we will just call him Rowdy) but we like to give them middle names.  My daughter picked out the name, Rowdy and Mike use to watch the show Rawhide and the character that Clint Eastwood played was named, Rowdy Yates so we decided that Rawhide would be his middle name.

He is fitting right in with all the other cats now & I'll be sharing many more photos of him in the coming days.

 

 

Sparks & a New Year Welcome

Welcome! - Well another year has past & a new one has begun.
2017 certainly had it's challenges but it also had blessings.  I'm sure 2018 will be the same way.  Each "New Year" has it's, (Up's and Down's) and it's up to each one of us to deal with them the best we can.

 We always close out the old year by eating a bunch of snack foods, watching movies, setting off fireworks and toasting the new year at midnight



This is some of what we ate. 

Poor Greta had to work and didn't get home until around 10:00 pm.  She was hungry as you can see by her plate of food and not amused that I was taking pictures!

One of our cats,  Harley watching us outside as we got ready to set off the fireworks.  - That first big bang though scared him and he was out of that window in a flash!

Those things were loud! - Scared Mike, scared me & everyone laughed.

I received just such an act of thougtfulness & kindness this past week.  A package arrived in the mail from a good friend.  I was so not expecting anything from her and this is what I found inside the package.

It's one of her "Mixed Media" art pieces.  She does such an amazing job with her art, It's fun, colorful and whimsical. - Just for me she did a piece with a "cat" in it.  This one is titled:  Full Moon Sluething and it's just so cute.  I love it.  The picture doesn't do it justice as you can't see all the little details she adds to make her work so much fun. -  It meant a lot to me that she shared this art piece with me. 

I hope you will take time this week to do a Kindness for someone.  It can be someone you know or even someone you don't know.  It can be "random" or on purpose, just do it.  You never know who's live you will brighten by your thoughtfulness.
