Good Fences#69 - Wheelie Good Fence

Hello! - I've been absent from the blog and from commenting on blogs for about a week now.  We've been dealing with some family issues that have taken up much of my time so I haven't been able to stop by your blogs like I normally do.  At any rate things are starting to calm down again so I hope to be popping by your blogs very soon.

Today I'm joining in on the fun of GOOD FENCES hosted by Theresa from, The Run-a-round Ranch Report.

We took a little drive up Mill Creek in the mountains the other day and I had to stop by once again and take some pictures of this unique fence.  -  It may have been featured here once before on the blog for a different meme but these are new photos so I'm going to share them. -  This property is owned by a man who runs a muffler shop in town.  He has a bunch of different figures at his place of business as well as on this property.

A view of the fence that runs down part of the property.

Same view - a little closer

 Getting closer still

Nice and Close

Check out the critter sitting on top of one of the wheels to the right of this shot.

Here's the same view further out and I believe there is another critter in the left of the photo.

Finally a couple of the critters that sit either on this fence or very near it.

Rock on Dude!

                                   Smile your on Candid Camera!

I hope you've enjoyed this fun and creative fence.  I know I always do when I drive past it.

Good Fences #68 - It's a Jungle Out There

It's time to join Theresa (The Run-a-round Ranch Report) for GOOD FENCES.

We've been having a long, hot & dry summer here.  I thought I'd be able to spend more time outside but I don't handle the heat very well anymore so I've been staying inside as much as possible.  Thank goodness I have a supply of fence shots to share as I haven't had the desire to drive around and look for any this summer.

A couple of weeks ago the ladies from our church had lunch at one of the local restaurants and I thought it would be neat to share these shots from the decor outside the restaurant.

Look it's an Elephant behind that fence.  Isn't it cool?

 Different view.

How about a Girafee peeking around that pole at you.  Notice the Christmas lights are still up on this guy.

This shot was taken last year and I shared it because this one doesn't have the light draped around the Giraffe.

They've added a new animal to the mix....

I really like this shot - That Gorilla looks intense and I don't think that fence would hold him in if this were an actual Gorilla but it still looks pretty cool.

Another view of Mr. Gorilla.

So did you enjoy my Jungle Fence Find? -  I know they made me smile and I'm sure plenty of people who visit the restaurant enjoy them as well.

Don't forget to stop in and check out the other great fences by clicking on the link above which takes you to the fence party.

Song-ography - Stray Cat Strut

Joining Kathy (You'll Shoot Your Eye Out) today for SONG-OGRAPHY

I had this photo that I thought was funny and just knew that there was a song that this would work with.  Here is what I came up with.

Stray Cat Strut - By the Stray Cats

"Wild stray cat, you're a real gone guy"
I wish I could be as carefree and wild
But I got cat class and I got cat style

Kathy has a (suggested) song but you can also go with your own song and interpretation.  I hope you enjoy mine today.  -  Don't forget to stop in and check out the other participants.

Also please remember to vote in the Caption This Poll on my sidebar.  You can see the post HERE to know what you are voting on.

Good Fences #67 - Celebrate

Joining Theresa (The Run-a-round Ranch Report) for Good Fences.

It's summer (at least here in the US) so let's celebrate with a burst of colorful flowers behind a chain link fence.  Spotted on one of our many walks.

and because it's almost the 4th of July here in the US let's celebrate with a
Patriotic Chain Link fence. Also spotted out on a fence hunt.

Have a great day & thanks for stopping in.  Don't forget to join in on the fun and check out all the other great fences.  You can find them by clicking on the link (GOOD FENCES)
