Black and White Wednesdays - Eye of the Tiger

Joining Adrienne from (My Memory Art) for:

It's strange how sometimes when you are looking for a certain thing to photograph you often end up finding something totally unexpected.  That is just the case here today.  I was out on a walk one day in search of some new fences to share for another meme and just happened to look up as I was walking down the alley and spotted the photo below.  I knew it would be perfect to use for Black and White Wednesdays.

It's the eye of the tiger
It's the thrill of the fight
Rising up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all with the eye of the tiger

This photo was converted to Black and White and edited on Pic Monkey.

Below is the colored version of the same photo for those who enjoy seeing the original as well.

  2. Excellent choice for black and white. It was good to see the color, but in this instance color adds nothing to this shot.

I remember that song very well.

  3. Was wondering when you would join Black and White Wed.:) A great contribution, Ida. Your last one is my favorite. There's something intriguing about the small patches of subtle green!

  7. You are right, you never know what you will find when you go out to take photos. This one does look good in b&w.

  8. Lovely choice for a b&w. The tigers seem to stand-out more in the b&w vs. the color. Very nice!!

  21. a great song for sure! and great shot - I can't tell if it is curtains, or they have actually painted the tigers on the window frame, but either way a very cool effect.
