Joining Gosia (Looking for Identity) today for Good Fences Around the World
It's a nice 50+ day here (although overcast and drizzling rain) but hey the snow is gone so I'm a happy camper.
Sharing a few fences I've found here in town today with a "pop" of Red to them. I think it really makes them stand out.
First up a nice black wrought iron fence with red brick pillars.
Next we have a Red Fence (slightly worn) with some brambles growing ove it. - I liked the scalloped shape of the top of this fence. Of course if you look closely you'll see that the scalloped part is actually another fence right behind the red fencing.
Finally while not technically a "fence" this red stair railing is quite nice.
There you have it, a trio of "red" to brighten your day.
Have a great day & don't forget to check out the other participants Good Fences from around the world.

I like the stair railing fence best of the three
ReplyDeleteLove all the red!
ReplyDeleteCome link up with Little Things Thursday, too!
yayy the snow is gone and I enjoyed your pops of red to brighten my day!
ReplyDeletewishing you a happy day too!
The red really shows up nicely in the winter time! Love that old red wood fence. Enjoy your week sweet friend. Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteGreat fences, Isa! You are right - red makes them more visible:)
ReplyDeleteDiscovered this week that your last comment to me wordpress put in the spam folder (together with other bloggers) - strange, since you commented to me before! Anyways, this is the reason for not writing you back!
How is life treating you? It must be more pleasant now the snow is gone! Hope to see you back soon at SEASONS! Coming week we'll celebrate the first anniversary:) Have a happy weekend!
Hi Ida, I see we both linked up with Fences today! I discontinued my old blog and have started a new one if you would like to follow along.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a nice weekend.
My favourite is the first fence love from Poland
ReplyDeleteThe red truly captures the attention on the fences and nice detailing on them! The second one is interesting with two combos of fences.
ReplyDeletethe last one is my favorite. Not sure I like the first one. Have to get used to it I guess.
ReplyDeleteLove your red ones! The second is so great!
ReplyDeleteI like your red fences. They brighten up the surroundings. Have a bright Sunday!
ReplyDeleteI do like the red touch! I wonder if that middle photo is actually two fences....after looking closer I think it is. I do like the scalloped look, whichever it is.
ReplyDeleteNice red! Love the brick in the first photo!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing the fence in the middle photo is to keep deers out of someones garden. :)
ReplyDeleteThe red colors brightened up my morning. Nice to see you have a break in the weather!
ReplyDeleteThe iron with the red lined bricks looks very dramatic, but still rather natural in some way. I didn't even see that it was a second fence behind the red one.. I just thought they got tired of painting and left the top! LOL
ReplyDeleteThe pop of red was a delight to see! I loved the staircase rail, just beautiful! All of your snow is gone? Wow! We have snow level to our front porch still... no need for steps, lol! And more coming this weekend! I do so love winter, but I will be happy when spring gets here, probably not until May, at this rate! Hope you are doing well Ida! Always a joy to visit with you :)
ReplyDeleteThe red in the bricks is unusual I think. Gives it a totally different look.
ReplyDeletepretty reds, i like the last one - it looks a bit like a ladder!!!
