GFATW and LITTLE THINGS THURSDAY
It's a pretty long fence and in the spring those trees will be pretty and green. But did you notice the rock wall beneath the fence?
There use to be another fence there before they put up the tall wooden fence and I imagine at first there was only the stone wall but over the years people have built different fences but the stone wall remains.
Nice and Green all covered in moss.
It's those "little details" we often overlook that make like interesting.
Have a wonderful day.
I like the contrast between the boards and the ancient stones.
ReplyDelete...they say that moss grows on the north side.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful moss covered moss....I'm always looking for stones like these to purchase for my garden. Nice photos...

ReplyDeleteI like this kind of wooded fences. The wood itself stand for the beauty :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice! Love all of the parallel lines...the road, curb, sidewalk, stones, and fence! Great looking fence!
ReplyDeleteIt will be a lovely picture when the trees are full of leaves. Without the moss, the stones would be bare but now they are dressed in shades of green. Have a beautiful weekend!
ReplyDeletegreat fences love from Europe
ReplyDeleteit's a pretty fence, i like the weathering wood. the rocks really add a lot of beauty to this fence and image!!!
ReplyDeleteGood observation, Ida! I sometimes see moss when hiking on a north side of a mountain that does not get much sun. It is such an interesting micro plant.
ReplyDeleteThe moss on those stones is fantastic! I wish I could get moss to grow like that on the stones in my garden. Enjoy the rest of your week Ida,
ReplyDeleteAndrea

ReplyDeleteSo pretty, love the moss on the rocks! Hope you are doing well!
ReplyDeleteYou know I actually didn't even notice until you pointed it out!! And it really does seem to set the picture off, without being taking away from it. A nice composition. The colours are all so natural and just beautifully saturated.
