Seasons and Treasures

Welcome! - Today I'll be participating in 2 Memes:

TUESDAY'S TREASURES hosted by Tom (The Backroads Traveller) and a brand new meme:

SEASONS hosted by Jesh (St. Germains Blog). - I hope you will check them both out.

First up for my Tuesday's Treasures shot:

I spotted these lamps on the side of a building in Weston, OR and just had to stop and take a picture of them.  I don't think they work anymore but in their time I'm sure they were a real "treasure" of beauty.  Even now they still look pretty cool.

Now here is my entry for the Seasons meme:

Yesterday I took a very long walk and on the way home I spotted this tree starting to bud and bloom.  I had to take a picture...spring is just around the corner.

May you enjoy all the "treasures" and "seasons" in your life. - Have a great day.

One Four Challenge and 31 Days of Inspiration - Day 19

Happy Monday. - For those looking for my 31 Days of Inspiration Photo it will follow after the One Four Challenge here today so keep scrolling down.

It's Week 3 of the One Four Challenge hosted by Robyn from the ( Captivate Me ) blog.

So here is what I did this week:  I took the edit from Week 1, Cloned the flower pot in the corner of the photo and moved it over so I could crop out the telephone pole and most of the tree in the left hand corner.

Wk. 1

Next I used some effects on Pic Monkey to add a different color tone (Rapture Effect) to the scene.

After that I went to Be Funky and used the Cartoonizer Effect to create the photo below:

I saved that image and went back to Pic Monkey and open it up there and then overlayed the 2nd image edit shown here today to get my Final Week 3 edit:

Week 3

I also added the word, (Amour) to finish off the edit.

Sometimes "attitude" is everything. - Wishing you all a great week.

Photo Art Friday - Collages

If you are here for Good Fences or Wild Bird Wednesday you can find links to both memes in the Archive section on my sidebar.

It's time to join Bonnie (Pixel Dust Photo Art) for her monthly Meme:  Photo Art Friday.  This months theme was: Collage.

I wish I had Photo Shop or another program in which to make up different types of collages but I don't so I'm going with a pretty simple collage look that I put together on Pic Monkey.

The 1st piece is a basic collage of some blooming trees that I've take around town lately.

Please click to enlarge for better detail.

Then I took 3 of the photos from this collage and added 3 of Bonnie's Textures to them and made a separate collage.  This is the one I will be featuring for the Voting.

Textures used: Memories of Paris (White Dogwood Blooms)
Dappled Dawn (Golden Chain Tree)
Musique (Lilac Tree).

Be sure to stop by Bonnie's blog and check out the other participants.

Next month's theme:  Monochromatic. -  Why not give it a try.
