Tea Cup & Mug Exchange Reveal

Today is the day we reveal our partners from the Tea Cup & Mug Exchange hosted by,
Stephanie (The Enchanting Rose) blog.

This is always such a fun event to participate in.  You are assigned a partner to send either a Tea Cup or a Coffee Mug to along with some goodies and another person is assigned to send to you so you get to become acquainted with 2 new people.  Some have blogs and some do not.

This exhange my partner that I sent to was Cheryl who blogs HERE:
I had a lot of fun picking out the items to send to her.  She'll be revealing that on her blog so you can see what she received.

The partner who had my name was  Sharon (aka Snap) who blogs at,
Tales from Twisty Lane.

Here are the wonderful goodies that I received from Sharon,

I received some wonderful Earl Grey tea (a favorite of mine) along with Blueberry Tea, which I might add my granddaughter just loves and claimed it for her own since Grandma isn't much of a blue berry fan.

Along with the Tea there was some yummy muffin mix, a pretty Tray, Coffee Mug, Coaster, Note Pad & Note cards.

Notice how everything matches and is color coordinated.  Blue is my favorite color and this is such a pretty and dainty mug.  Just right for when you don't want to drink a huge cup of coffee or tea.

The notes cards are so sweet and I love that lined Notebook.  I'm always keeping note pads or something nearby my desk to jot down things so that will come in very handy.

Thank you so much Sharon for your wonderful gift & friendship.  I enjoy stopping by your blog.

Thanks also Stephanie for hosting this super fun event.  Can't wait to join in on the next one!

Tec Cup Mug Exchange Reveal

Today is the day when we reveal our partners from the 8th annual Tea Cup/Mug Exchange hosted by Stephanie for The Enchanting Rose blog.

First I want to say that this is such a fun event and how awesome Stephanie is for hosting and putting this altogether.  Thank you so much Stephanie for all your hard work in making this event a wonderful experience.

I had such a good time picking out items to send to my partner: Marilyn Moseley
She blogs at: http://www.mountaintopspice.blogspot.com/

She is a wonderful woman that I am enjoying getting to know.  We've exchanged e-mails with each other and found out that we live fairly close to so maybe one day we'll be able to meet in person.  Do stop by her blog and check it out.

The partner who had my name is: Pat Rutledge.  She blogs at:

http://www.gypsyheartandsoul.com/  - She's also a wonderful lady that I am enjoying getting to know more about.

This is what she sent me in the exchange:

A really nice Polka Dot Mug (the dots are a Navy blue color), Some yummy Brookside Candy.  I had been wanting to try those after seeing the advertisement on television so I was delighted when I discovered she had sent some in my package.  I like them a lot.
She also sent some wonderful French Vanilla Coffee and Earl Grey Tea (one of my favorite flavors.)  Along with that she sent a pretty gold candle holder.  I love to burn candles so that was a perfect little gift.  And look at those lovely dish towels.  Both in shade of teal which I love. -  Thank you so much Pat for all the wonderful goodies and for being a very nice person to get to know.

If you have never participated in this exchange you don't know what you are missing.  Be sure to check out all these ladies blogs and have a wonderful day.

Seasons - March 2, 2016

Welcome!

One of my favorite things about the spring season is when the little violets bloom.  They always bring back sweet memories of picking bouquets of them to give to my mom and she would put them in a little glass and sit it in her kitchen window.  Sometimes I still take her a bouquet of them out of the yard.

This morning as I was getting ready for my walk I noticed a bunch of them blooming in our yard and also in several yards along the walk.  They have such a wonderful sweet smell.

They make me smile.

What is your favorite spring season memory?

I'm joining Jesh (St. Germain's) for her new SEASONS meme today.  Please stop by and check it out.

Also today is the day to sign up for the Tea Cup/Mug Exhange hosted by Stephanie from the Enchanting Rose blog.  I highly recommend you check this out and join in on the fun.

Tea Cup/Mug Exchange & 31 Days of Inspiration Day 14

I recently participated in Stephanie's (The Enchanting Rose)
Tea Cup/Mug Exchange. - It is so much fun.  Today is the revel of who our partners were and what we received from our partner.

You can read all about this great event HERE:

The partner that sent stuff to me was:  Judy (20 North Ora)  Look what she sent me:

She sent that adorable owl mug, the Owl Towel (hey, that rhymes), some owl tissues, a cider packet, 2 cocoa mixes, the Halloween table runner and a pen.

Fall is one of my two favorite seasons and Halloween is a favorite holiday so the table runner was a perfect gift and is now on my mantle with the Halloween decorations.

I have to show you a close-up of the towel & the mug.

Don't these guys make you smile!

How cool is that mug! - I love it. - This serves as today's Inspirational Quote: -  I hope you take time to enjoy your friends whether you drink coffee, tea, milk, water, wine etc....with them. - It's never wasted time.

So thank you so much Judy. - Be sure to visit her blog.

I had the pleasure of sending to: Alexi Rochester (Chemistry Cachet)  So please visit her blog to see what I sent to her. - It was fun picking things out and getting to know both of these ladies.

A "Huge" thanks to Stephanie for hosting this. It's quite a task as there were 151 Women who signed up and she coordinates assigning everyone their partners.

Random, Willy Nilly & a Tea Cup Exchange

Happy Friday!

It's time for some fun.  So let's join Nancy & Tanya for RANDOM FIVE FRIDAY & WILLY-NILLY FRIDAY FUN. - Click on the link to be taken to the fun.

1.  I recently participated in the Tea Cup/Mug Exchange hosted by the lovely Stephanie (The Enchanting Rose) and today is the link up for what we received from our partners.    Here is what I received from the wonderful & fun, Mary Burris (Jingle Jangle Jungle)

Look at those adorable cat mugs...Mary must know how much I love cats. They were "purr-fect"! - Also some great mint tea, a favorite of mine. A pretty candle, some lovely smelling lotion and a note pad.  Thanks, Mary everything was wonderful.

I just had to show off the mugs one more time. - If you've never participated in this check out Stephanie's blog and sign-up the next time she hosts.  It's so much fun and you make new friends along with getting a fun mug/cup.

2.  Spring is in full-force here now.  We had a couple of rainy days this week (typical for spring) and then yesterday it was 75 outside.  Coleen and I took a walk after she got out of school.  I snapped this shot of a flowering tree along the way.

Textured with one of Nancy's great textures from her Little Women collection.  The one I used was, Beth.  I was excited to get a "bee" in the shot too.

3. We saw a few butterflies, those little white ones that are pretty common around here but I couldn't get any pictures of them.  I did however get this picture of a butterfly bench we spotted in someone's yard.  Isn't that cool!

4.  We love squirrels around here and I leave peanuts out for them along with seeds for the birds.  Apparently other people around town enjoy squirrels too.  Look what we spotted in someone's yard.

5.  Since it was nice out yesterday and I was actually feeling half-way decent I got out and trimmed up the roses bushes.  They took a hard hit this winter when we had a super warm spell that was followed by a super cold snap.  I may have lost a lot of them and will have to replace them.  In the meantime lots of other things are blooming.  My Bleeding Heart plant is up but hasn't bloomed yet.  I did spot this one on our walk and thought it was pretty.

Joining Steve too for FELINE FRIDAY

Let's give this one a "caption" - Give me your best idea's and I'll pick a winner and feature your caption next week.

Tea Cup Exchange

Recently I participated in a Tea Cup/Mug Exhange hosted by the lovely Stephanie (The Enchanting Rose).  This is a lot of fun.  You get a nice surprise in the mail (either a Tea Cup or a Mug) and a chance to make a new friend.

Stephanie posted the LINK to the exchange earlier this week and I forgot to get my post up on time (shame on me).  Anyway here is the mug I received from my partner, Kathy Weisz.  Kathy has an Etsy shop which you can visit HERE:

Isn't that Tea Cup pretty.  I really liked the colors and the dainty rose pattern on the cup and the gold accents.  She also included a wonderful selection of her favorite teas.  Some of which are also my favorites, particularly Earl Grey.  -  Thank you Kathy for a wonderful exchange.

Thank you Stephanie for taking the time to put this all together and match people up.  I look forward to doing this again.
