over on Bonnie's blog, Pixel Dust Photo Art. This week our optional theme was the use of Lines in our art pieces.
I had a bit of fun with this first piece.
Here are the original two photo's that I used:
I cropped and then combined the two photo's and added the frame to get this...
I also decided to play a litte at BeFunky.com and came up with this pop art version.
I did a 2nd piece using this photo:
For this piece I cropped the photo. Then added Bonnie's texture, Vintage Vellum overlay at 75%. Did some adjustments with the color etc...(all on Pic Monkey) and ended up with the piece below.
these are fantastic, Ida!

ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing what the eye sees and how you can manipulate the effect. Both pictures lend themselves to lines and to beauty. Thank you ... I enjoyed this.

ReplyDeleteLove both your photos but especially the biker it makes such a great story (visiting from PAF) thanks for visiting today and leaving a lovely comment.
ReplyDeleteAll your edits are beautiful. I really love the spiders web though.
ReplyDeleteLove how you use the artificial web to bring out the spider's web! And vintage always works for me... amazing how it can change the atmosphere of a shot - it always has me thiking "old America" for some reason... Beautiful job on the road shot!
ReplyDeleteIda this is such a great overlay to accent the real spider and its web! Also, of course it is perfect illustration for lines. Lovely and so creative
