over on Bonnie's blog, Pixel Dust Photo Art. This week our optional theme was the use of Lines in our art pieces.
I had a bit of fun with this first piece.
Here are the original two photo's that I used:
I cropped and then combined the two photo's and added the frame to get this...
I did a 2nd piece using this photo:
For this piece I cropped the photo. Then added Bonnie's texture, Vintage Vellum overlay at 75%. Did some adjustments with the color etc...(all on Pic Monkey) and ended up with the piece below.
these are fantastic, Ida!ReplyDelete

Isn't it amazing what the eye sees and how you can manipulate the effect. Both pictures lend themselves to lines and to beauty. Thank you ... I enjoyed this.ReplyDelete

All your edits are beautiful. I really love the spiders web though.ReplyDelete
Love how you use the artificial web to bring out the spider's web! And vintage always works for me... amazing how it can change the atmosphere of a shot - it always has me thiking "old America" for some reason... Beautiful job on the road shot!ReplyDelete
Ida this is such a great overlay to accent the real spider and its web! Also, of course it is perfect illustration for lines. Lovely and so creativeReplyDelete
Ida, those are wonderful images, and your processing is great. The 'spider web' image in the purple tones is really fun.ReplyDelete
