Adventure and Apology

Hello dear friends.  I want to take a moment to Apologize for my lack of comments to everyone who has stopped by in the last few days.  I had a busy and a stressful weekend and to top it off spent nearly 2 hours in the Dentist chair yesterday so I've not had the time to reply to those who left comments on recent posts.  I thank each and everyone of you for those comments.  They mean a lot to me even if I don't always get back to you.

As you know from my Scavenger Hunt Sunday post I took Coleen to the Children's Museum Saturday and we had our own little "Adventure" together.  Here is a part of that....

We took this boat on a little journey and Coleen was the Skipper of the boat.

Our destination according to Coleen.....Hawaii (How I Wish) but in her imagination that's exactly where we were and it was Fun!

This weeks prompts:  On My Feet, Shapes, Little Things, Good & Egg.

ON MY FEET:

No these aren't "my feet" but seriously I have ugly feet and I basically wear either Tennis Shoes or Flip Flops neither of which make for a very exciting photo.  Instead I went with a photo of Coleen pointing to the feet of this animal (I'm guessing it was a dog) and showing the break in it's leg.  We went to the Children's Museum here in town this morning and they have an Veterinary Exhibit for the kids to play in complete with X-ray's that they can look at.

SHAPES:  Some of the shapes from one of the games they have for the kids to play with at the museum.

LITTLE THINGS:

These "little things" are baby Salmon displayed in a tank at the museum.  They will eventually be released in one of the local streams in the area.

GOOD:

It would appear that this metal crocodile has a "good" grip on Coleen but in actuality she's just a "good" little actress hamming it up for Grandma.

EGG:  A Dinosaur hatching from it's Egg, part of the Dinosaur exhibit at the Children's Museum.

We had a fun time at the museum.  She would have stayed all day if Grandma would have let her.

Photo Art Friday - Collages

It's time to join Bonnie (Pixel Dust Photo Art) for her monthly Meme:  Photo Art Friday.  This months theme was: Collage.

I wish I had Photo Shop or another program in which to make up different types of collages but I don't so I'm going with a pretty simple collage look that I put together on Pic Monkey.



The 1st piece is a basic collage of some blooming trees that I've take around town lately.

Then I took 3 of the photos from this collage and added 3 of Bonnie's Textures to them and made a separate collage.  This is the one I will be featuring for the Voting. 

Textures used: Memories of Paris (White Dogwood Blooms)
Dappled Dawn (Golden Chain Tree)
Musique (Lilac Tree).

Last week I featured a wrought iron fence located on the grounds of a local Bed & Breakfast (Vines and Roses).  This week I'm featuring more fences and the lovely gate that border the front of the B&B.

 In This photo you can see the B&B Victorian Home, The Wrought Iron Grape Fence and the Little White Picket Fence with a charming Heart Gate.

Here is a close-up of the gate with an antique editing added.
