It's time for this weeks Photo Art Friday
and as always we were given the choices of either,
Any piece of Photo Art or this weeks theme of Black and White Photo Art.
That's the choice I took for my photo art this week. I will be sharing 2 different pieces that I worked on for this challenge.
First up I took this photo last week of my husband playing his guitar. It was featured on Sunday as part of (Scavenger Hunt Sunday) for the word Shine.
For this though I took the original photo and converted it to Black and White, added Bonnie's texture (Memories of Paris) and erased the texture off the hand. Then I added the Old Photo frame from Pixlr-O-Matic and finally added the Drop Shadow Frame off of Pic Monkey.
I started with the following 2 photos:
Both were converted into B/W on Pic Monkey and then I overlayed the bird photo as a texture, erased out the trees and added Bonnie's texture, (Medieval Magic) which I desaturated on Gimp before applying on Pic Monkey to my photo's. Finally I added a text and the frame to get the final resulting piece.
I had a lot of fun with this challenge and was happy with the results of both pieces. I hope you enjoy them as well. Please pop in on Pixel Dust Photo Art to check out the other entries and have a fabulous weekend.
