Sunlit Sunday

Today is the last post for SUNLIT SUNDAY for this year so I thought I would join in and spread some sunshine.  We've had a lot of (rain) this week but the sun was actually a couple of days and boy did I take advantage of those moments to enjoy it.

Another shot of those gorgeous Pussy willow blooms.  (There is another photo of these in my Songography post)

Caught this little guy catching some sun rays after a rain shower the other day.

This little Female Mallard Duck was out with her mate enjoying some sun, water & bird seed yesterday after it stopped raining and the sun came out.

We spotted this little kitty enjoying some sunshine on our way to the library and I just had to stop and take her picture.  The kids playing in the yard told us her name was, Callie.  Doesn't she look sweet.

We also made a stop to take some photo's of the "egg tree".  A woman in town hangs up colored eggs on her tree every spring and they looked so cheery I just had to take some pictures of them.

I hope you've enjoyed this little bit of Sunshine and whether or not the sun is actually shining where you live today let's hope you have happy, sunny thoughts to cheer you up and give you hope that Spring is on it's way.

  13. Your pussy willow is especially beautiful, Ida. We were out today and I was admiring those, thinking how pretty they could be in a photo with the right light. Well, you captured them in just the right light to show how something so ordinary can be very special at the same time. All lovely spring photos!
