Here is my submission:
I did a couple of other's as well which I'll share but since we are voting on people's favorites. This is the one that you'll be voting on.
The Original photo is below:
For my abstract version I used Bonnie's texture: (Splash of Gold) twice, moving it over the 2nd time I added it. I also used some special effects from Pic Monkey and a Frame from Pixlr-o-matic.
Here are my others:
Added Bonnie's texture (Fanciful) in Screen mode to the original photo, erasing most of it off the flowers. Then used the Posterize feature on Pic Monkey and also the Orton effect to get this final version.
Here is the original:
Finally:
For this version all I did was use the Posterize feature on Pic Monkey.
Here is the original:
Don't forget to stop by Bonnie's blog and check out all the other great Floral Abstracts.
All quite lovely Ida! Isn't this posterization feature fun! I love it! Glad to meet again here on our monthly art opportunity!

These are gorgeous Ida. I really really like the last one, the marigold I think.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a variety ... I loved starting off with the monochromatic soft greens and then hopping over to pink ... takes your breath away. I love the pink flowers, probably my favorite of the three. They are all wonderful and I love the little bee ... hope we will start seeing more little bees in our future :)I enjoyed these, Ida ...

love that you showed the originals. I thought to DO that but never reminded myself when the time came.
wonderful submissions!!
Sorry if I'm posting twice, but wanted to be sure and leave a comment. Sometimes Blogger doesn't take my comments from my Wordpress site. Anyway, love the pinks in the flower and especially the last one looks very abstract. Enjoyed visiting and seeing your PAF for March. :)
ReplyDeleteThey are all really neat, Ida - but the first one is my favorite - good choice!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful work Ida! As always!
