Next up is our cat, Bandit - He turned 8 in May of this year.

Next in line is my sweet, Caramel who will be 7 in September.

Continuing on with Speedy G - Who will be 6 in October.

Next up is Gidget who turned 4 in February of this year.

Followed next by,  Rowdy who turns 2 in September.

Bringing up the rear (last but not least) is, Rascal (not to be confused with Bandit) - He turned 1 in April of this year.

That rounds out the furry kitty family here.  They do keep us busy!

Willy Nilly Friday Five - March 29, 2019

Welcome - Well it's only been 2 weeks instead of a month since I last posted.  I'm making progress!

What a busy 2 weeks it's been.  I got older last week, the First Day of Spring Arrived on my birthday!  Took my mom to the doctor, went bowling, went gambling, took her cat to the vet.  Lots to do for sure.

So today I'm joining Tom for WILLY-NILLY FRIDAY FIVE

1.  In honor of the First Day of Spring I'm sharing my photo of the Super Worm Moon that night.

2.  Went for a drive up to Bennington Lake and spotted these guys along the way.

3.  At the lake there wasn't much water as they haven't yet filled the lake back up.  Still waiting for spring run off from the mountains.  Still there were people out enjoying what water was in the lake.

4.  Still snow on the mountains but the fields are starting to green up and people were enjoying a walk along one of the many paths at the lake.

5.  Last night I liked the look of the trees and clouds out our back door.

Finally no post is complete without some cute kitties.

Bandit and Speedy G enjoying a cat nap.

Friday Fun

I'm a little behind with my blogging of late so I'm combining several Memes today.

WILLY-NILLY FRIDAY FIVE

FENCES FROM AROUND THE WORLD

FELINE FRIDAY

1. I often photograph cats while walking or driving around town so today I thought I'd share this lovely Dog that was watching us from behind his owners fence.
(Sharing for Fences From Around the World)

2.

See that bruise on my arm...I had a little accident on Monday.  It actually doesn't look that bad here but it got worse and I had bruises on my breasts and my knee too from my little mishap.  So what caused my accident?

3.  They should come with "Warning Labels"

I was pulling weeds and trimming back my rose bushes and decided to move the garbage can closer to where I was working.  The lid was open and I grabbed the handles to push the can ahead and the next thing I knew I was laying face down inside the can (Stop Laughing)...Apparently the lid caught on the grass and shoved the can out from underneath me and I went down with a bang.  - Thankfully no teeth got knocked out but I was pretty bruised up.

4.  Time has gone by so quickly this year and I forgot to even post that I celebrated my 25th Wedding Anniversary last month (April 18th).  We went out for a nice dinner that evening and on the weekend our daughter and granddaughter suprised us with a nice little party.  (No pictures) - So instead I'll share one of the songs that was sung at our wedding.

5.  I've been busy this week outside weeding, planting, watering...flower beds at both my house and my mom's place next door.  Lots of hard work for sure.

This is my mom's side of our driveway.  I also planted flowers on the other side next to our house as well.

Now for Feline Friday:

Just Checking In

Hi! - Well we finally got our computer issues fixed!!!!! - We are now off of Dial-Up (which by the way if you are still using Dial-Up you are living in the stone ages as I was told several times) - Anyway I hope to be back blogging on a regular basis now and visiting your blogs more often.

Just for fun:

Bandit looked to be having a rough day yesterday.  Sort of like I felt until we had our computer back up and running.

Now we're feeling all calm and relaxed!

Hope you all have a nice day.

Friday Randoms & Fill-Ins

Hallelujah it's Friday!

It's time for some "random" fun.

1.  This was the shot I submitted for the 52 Frames project for the prompt,
Blue.  You can check out the entire album here:

This is a sculpture at our local airport. "Illuminated Gateway Arbors" by artist, Koryn Rolstad.   - Check down further for a view of it during the daytime.  - This one was taken just as a huge Thunder and Lightning storm was approaching.  I had time enough to snap a few pictures before deciding that I'd best get back in my car.  I drove home amidst a torrential downpour and a fantastic lighting show.

2.  Just a little "Kitty Love" to make you smile.  This is a sweet moment with Bandit & Pepper.  I had to snap fast before they moved so it's a bit blurred but still cute.

3.  I bought a new shirt the other day.  As you know I bowl (or attempt to) on a League.  Right now we are on a break although we have been bowling just for fun on Tuesday mornings, those of us who wanted to continue bowling.  League won't start back up again until September.
Anyway I found a shirt that I liked to wear on bowling days.

Yes it really is that colorful!

4.  A look at some of the flowers I've been busy planting.  This is my mom's side of our driveway.  I planted our side yesterday.  My knees and back are sore from all that bending over and such but they sure look pretty.

5. Monday starts the new season of the ABC Show, The Bachelorette  Yes, I'm addicted to this show.  I also watch (The Bachelor) as well.  But I think the Bachelorette is my favorite because you get to look at 25 Hunky guys instead of 25 Gorgeous women.

1. Here's the Day time version of the Blue Sculpture at the Airport.

2.  It's (Ant) season and whenever we find huge gatherings of these pesky critters we dust them with ant killer but first we snap their picture!

3.  A Friend of mine sent me some photos created by Artist, Michael Paul Smith.  This is one of them:

Now check out this link because you'll be amazed about what this photo really is:
 http://petapixel.com/2015/02/02/look-michael-paul-smith-creates-historical-photos-incredibly-detailed-models/

4.  Tomorrow is the annual Ducky Derby.  I've featured it here before on my blog.  Last year it was such a (boring) event since they didn't race the ducks down the creek due to low current flow (yeah, right) but instead just dumped them into a field and fished around in the pile to pick out the winners.  I've heard that this year they will race down the creek so I'll be there camera in hand to see if any of my 5 ducks win the race. Photo from the 2014 Race.

5.  We saw an "infomercial" the other night for DVD's of Rowan & Martin's, Laugh-In and decided to purchase them as hubby & I both watched this silly show.

Here's a YouTube Clip for your enjoyment.

Finally I'm joining in on Friendly Fill-Ins. Linking in with McGuffy's Reader.

Just popping in & a note about Google Followers

Hi! - Thought I'd pop in today and share this sweet photo:

Bandit & Harley relaxing on a chair.

Remember when I mentioned that I had lost some "Google Followers" recently.  Well today I noticed a link about Google changing it's policy for people to follow blogs.  You might want to check it out as on Jan. 11th changes will be made and you might find yourself losing a bunch of your followers.

Here is the link:

My suggestion...Add the Follow By E-Mail feature to your blogs if you are on Blogger.  It's so much easier to get updates right to your e-mail.

Willy Nilly Friday Five

Hi! - I've been absent from participating in
WILLY-NILLY FRIDAY FIVE for a few weeks and thought I'd join in again today.  WNFF is hosted by Tanya (Around Roanoke).

Here are 5 Things and some photos that I'm thankful for today.

1.   I'm thankful that when I slipped last night trying to "herd" cats to the bedroom and fell into our dishwasher I only bruised my hand and didn't break anything.  I'm also thankful no one (especially my hubby) saw what happened.  I'm sure it was pretty comical as I had one cat in my arms and was trying to move one with my foot when I accidentally stepped on her tail, she yowled, I dropped the cat I was carrying, slipped on the floor and banged hard into the kitchen counter and dishwasher.  Cats went running every direction.  I bet it was quite the sight.

2.  Speaking of cats....I'm thankful to enjoy cuteness like this every day.

Bandit & Pepper on the Left - Bandit and Spooky-boo on the Right.

3.  I'm thankful for this sweet girl.  She's a joy (most of the time) to have around.

Recovering after her surgery last week.

4.  I'm thankful for this little dog, and a halfway decent photo of myself.  You will notice Coleen is the photographer for this photo.  This was taken during one of our nature/photo walks a few weeks ago.

Me & Pixie (my mom's dog)

5.  I'm thankful for time to relax, time to work, time to play, time to reflect...well you get the picture.

The "Tick-Tock" balloon that was at the Balloon Stampede in October.

Bonus Photo since I mentioned being thankful for colorful fall foliage yesterday.   I spotted 3 very different and yet colorful leaves in our driveway.  I picked them up and arranged them on the sidewalk for a little photo shoot so I could enjoy their color a little longer.

Have a beautiful weekend.

Willy Nilly Friday 5 & 31 Days of Inspiration

 Happy Friday!

Joining Tanya (Around Roanoke) for WILLY-NILLY FRIDAY FIVE

1.  Wow October snuck up on me...I planned to post 31 days of Inspiration and now I'm a day behind.   Oh well you get the first two days here today:

 2.  I've been seeing a lot of these lately:

Found this video on Mantis, Crabs & Spiders that's rather cool:

3. "Blondie's" back....no not the singer.  - Blondie is the name we've given to a cat we've been feeding off & on for atleast 5-6 years now.  He's an amazing cat in that he'll show up for several weeks and then disappear for months on end. - We don't know if he belongs to anyone or is a feral cat.  He won't let us get much closer then 3-4 ft. before he'll run.  However sometimes he'll look all beat up and battered and then the next time you see him his fur is all pretty and clean and brushed so we think someone may actually take care of him.  It's hard to get decent photos of him because he only shows up at night to eat the food we leave out but here is one I took the other night.  Mind you we hadn't seen him for at least 5 months and then one night there he was waiting for food again.

4.  Coleen came home from school the other day and said she wanted to take a nap (something she rarely does).  They had just had PE and had did their "mile run." -  She was on the couch watching TV and pretty soon Grandpa called me in to see her and this is what I found.  Apparently, Bandit was tired too as he fell asleep with her.

5.  People are starting to decorate for Halloween now here in town.  While out on a walk with Pixie we spotted these "Bumpy Pumpkins" in someone's yard.

This is such a weird variety of pumpkin but also really cool looking.  Since Halloween is coming up soon here is a link to some ideas for Pumpkin Carving.

That's it for me this week.  I decided to keep today simple and only do one Meme since I plan to post a photo everyday this month (hopefully.)
